As a foster carers and others involved in the care system, we are used to prioritizing the children we work with. Our lives are sometimes far too busy.

After a year of pandemic, the need for foster care placements has risen by over 40% and we are looking for more amazing people to help us meet this demand.

Especially for foster children, can we positively influence teen mental health today? Help them to make a self-soothe box!

As we grow, we observe the emotional coping skills of our foster carers and often foster children will not have had the best examples.

The best examples of care, but they show cared-for children can achieve anything – especially with foster carers and social workers on their side!

Many foster children have issues with food, so watching adults modelling a good relationship with it and having regular mealtimes can help with challenges.

For foster cared children, routine helps build feelings of belonging, security and calmness. It eliminates the fears and encourages mental and physical health.

Lots of foster carers have found that they have been able to get to know the children in their care much better under stay-at-home conditions.
